Instructions

  • Begin by sitting on your heels.

  • Slowly fold forward, bringing your chest to your thighs and your forehead to the floor.

  • Place the arms alongside the body, palms facing up towards the ceiling.

  • To come out of the pose, use your hands to push the floor way and slowly roll up.

Modifications

  • Place the arms out in front of you, palms down.

  • Use a bolster or a block to support your head if it doesn’t reach the floor.

  • Separate the knees.
