Instructions

  • Bring right leg back

  • 1 foot distance widthwise for stability

  • 2-3 feet distance lengthwise 

  • Hips squared to the front of the mat

  • Back foot 45 degree angle or you can come up onto the ball of your foot

  • Bend your left knee so it is above the ankle

  • Bring fingertips to palm pads, thumbs facing up

  • Bring your right hand back as if you are pulling a bow   

  • Bring left hand around and look out over left hand

  • Gently twist to a point that is right for your body

  • Take a few breaths here

  • On next exhale, come back to center

  • Repeat on other side

Modifications

  • If you’re caring for your back, be mindful not to twist.

  • If you’re caring for your knees, be mindful not to bend the needs too deeply.
