Upward Salute

Instructions

  • Stand with your feet together or hips-width distance apart.

  • Spread your weight evenly lengthwise and widthwise through your feet.

  • Make the body long from the feet to the top of the head.

  • Nod head slightly forward to lengthen the back of the neck and tuck the chin slightly.

  • Place your arms slightly away from the body and by your sides.

  • Take five breaths.

  • From mountain, on an inhale, bring your hands up overhead.

  • Take five breaths.
