Seated Twist

Instructions

  • Sit with legs extended out in front. 

  • Take right leg and with knee bent cross it over the left leg.

  • Take left arm and place left elbow outside of right knee creating a seal between the left arm and the right knee.

  • Inhale and lengthen from sitting bones to top of head.

  • Exhale and turn belly, ribs, chest, shoulders, and head towards the right.

  • Stay here breathing for 8-10 breaths.

  • Return to center and repeat on the left side.
